The sixty-second session of the Commission on the Status of Women took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from the 12th of March to the 23rd of March 2018. The chairman of World Human Accountability Organization and XDMS Group, Mr. Zhu, was invited to attend the parallel conference on the 14th of March 2018.
Chairman Zhu met with Mr. Nabeel Munir, the deputy permanent representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, after the conference. Chairman Zhu also met with Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori, the chairman of Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights, and Mrs. Sharon Hamilton Getz, the president of World Harmony Council and Forum, and the previous president of UNA-USA.
They began by discussing in-depth the current social development situation in Pakistan. They also touched on the establishment of sustainable cooperative relations with Pakistan’s non-profit organizations in the future.
Chairman Zhu invited them to discuss concrete cooperation plans in the WHAO New York office. He hopes that collaboration with Pakistan’s non-profit organizations will greatly improve the lives of women and girls in Pakistan. Along with seeking collaboration, chairman Zhu urges all people to raise awareness and take responsibility for these issues. At the same time, he also calls on all people in the world to raise awareness of social responsibility and undertake social responsibilities.
