Chairman Zhu of WHAO learned about a patient named Mingyu Zou who has suffered from cancer for over two years. During this time, her family deplenished all their savings in order to pay for her medical expenses. Now, due to their depleted resources, the family is struggling to continue Minyu’s cancer treatments. After learning about their current situation, Chairman Zhu decided to personally visit Mingyu and transport her from the previous hospital in JiangXi to a reputable hospital in Beijing to receive advanced medical treatment. WHAO volunteered to cover all expenses for Mingyu’s treatment, including her transportation, surgery and other medical fees. Mingyu undergone a successful surgery, and is currently in the recovery process.
