In July 2018, the World Human Accountability Organization (WHAO) formally established a partnership with the Legion of Good Will (LGW). Both organizations signed a strategic cooperation agreement in New York City. The CEOs and team members of both organizations held several in-depth discussions on the original intentions, common goals, and future cooperation methods of both parties.

The WHAO team was invited to visit the Legion of Good Will’s New York branch where the organization's CEO, Danilo, gave WHAO a warm welcome. He detailed his 70-year-old nonprofit organization’s past events, and current charity center housing renovation projects. After the pleasant meeting, the WHAO team invited Danilo to visit WHAO's New York headquarters located in the Chrysler  Building.

Legion of Good Will (LGW) or Goodwill Corps is a 70-year-old Brazilian non-profit organization. LGW was established in 1986 with the purpose of providing educational and social assistance programs to economically disadvantaged communities. LGW aims to eliminate poverty and its consequences by providing education, nutrition, health services and emergency relief activities with better opportunities. In New York, the organization has a liaison office with the United Nations, and consults with the United Nations/Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). LGW has been in contact with the United Nations for more than two decades.

Both organizations reached a consensus on the future development direction and decided to cooperate to organize more public welfare activities, such as LGW's ongoing "Backpack for A Bright Future" and "Charity Round" projects. The Backpack project provides new backpacks filled with school supplies to children in homeless shelters and financially disadvantaged areas in New Jersey. The project happens every year in September, at the beginning of a new school year. The Charity Round project provides food, clothes, blankets and informational publications directly to the homeless and poor residents of the New Jersey and New York areas to spread positive awareness. Both organizations will soon expand the scope of social assistance in New York and New Jersey through more cooperation between non-profit organizations.
